The amount of work involved will vary between weeks, some will involve a bit more time than others, but as a rough average it might take 4 hours per week.
Most of what you need you will probably have already. MS-Word, PowerPoint, Zoom or equivalents. You may want to have a platform to host your course, there are both free and paid versions available.
I will suggest other tools that may make the process easier for you, many of these are free. I provide a Tool List as part of the course.
The basics you will need are a computer (PC or Mac), webcam and microphone (both included in many laptops).
Broadband Internet connection.
I will make suggestions for hardware that may help your sound and video quality and lighting, they are optional if you have the basics already.
The process is designed to be simple, using tools that largely you will use everyday already. At all steps there will have been full explanation of what to do during the live call, where you can ask questions. If you need help outside of the live calls it is only an email away, in the Facebook group, or the 1:1 session.
You may need a Zoom Pro account, which is currently £11.99 p/m +VAT. This would be needed if you are presenting a live course, and you would only need it when your course is ready to start.
If you use a course platform then depending on the features you decide you need there may be cost here. There are free options, typically limited in features, but they are fine, unless you decide you need more.
The calls will all be recorded, and made available in the course platform. Typically this is the day after the call. An email is sent out when it is ready to watch.
